Syncing Performance Data

When connected to GMC, Feedy McFeed Feed syncs performance data to help you understand which products perform best in Shopping campaigns.

The Feedy McFeed Feed dashboard shows:

  • Total impressions (last 30 days)
  • Total clicks
  • Average CTR
  • Top performing products
  1. Go to Products
  2. Click on a product
  3. View Performance tab
  4. See metrics over time
  1. Go to Feeds
  2. Select a feed
  3. View Performance section
  4. See aggregated feed metrics

Choose date ranges:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • Custom range

Compare to previous periods to spot trends.

What it measures: How often your product ads appeared.

Healthy signs:

  • Consistent or growing impressions
  • Impressions across many products

Warning signs:

  • Sudden drops (check disapprovals)
  • Zero impressions (check eligibility)

  • Better product titles

  1. Go to Products
  2. Sort by clicks (descending)
  3. Identify winners
  1. Filter: Impressions > 1000 AND Clicks = 0
  2. Review product data
  3. Optimize or remove

High impressions, low clicks might need:

  • Better titles
  • Better images
  • Price adjustment
  • Ensure inventory is sufficient
  • Increase bids in Google Ads
  • Feature in promotions
  • Create similar products
  • Improve product data
  • Test different titles/images
  • Review pricing
  • Consider removing from feed

Check:

  • Product is approved
  • Product has valid data
  • Category has demand
  • Bids are competitive

Performance data syncs automatically:

  • Daily refresh for all products
  • Previous day’s data available by noon

To update immediately:

  1. Go to GMC
  2. Click Sync Performance
  3. Wait for completion

View sync status:

  1. Go to GMC > Sync History
  2. See last successful sync
  3. Review any sync errors

Create labels based on performance:

Use in Google Ads for bid adjustments.

Remove consistently poor performers:

  1. Identify products with 0 clicks after 1000+ impressions
  2. Review product data
  3. Improve or exclude from feed

Focus budget on proven performers:

  1. Create high-performer campaign
  2. Higher bids for proven products
  3. Test budget for new products separately

Export performance data for analysis:

  1. Go to GMC > Performance
  2. Click Export
  3. Choose format (CSV, Excel)
  4. Select date range
  5. Download
  • 30-day history by default
  • Longer history requires Google Ads connection
  • Some metrics require conversion tracking
  • 24-48 hour delay typical
  • Real-time data not available
  • Weekend data may delay further
