Understanding GMC Product Status
When connected to GMC, Feedy McFeed Feed syncs product approval status. Understanding these statuses helps you identify and fix issues keeping products out of ads.
Product Status Overview
Section titled “Product Status Overview”| Status | Meaning | Action Needed |

| Pending | Under review | Wait (usually 24-72 hours) |
| Disapproved | Rejected due to issues | Fix issues |
| Partially Approved | Approved in some regions | Review regional issues |
Viewing Product Status
Section titled “Viewing Product Status”In Feedy McFeed Feed

- Look for the GMC Status column
- Click a product to see details
Filter by Status
Section titled “Filter by Status”- Click Filters
- Select GMC Status
- Choose: Approved, Pending, Disapproved
Status Summary
Section titled “Status Summary”On the dashboard:
- Total approved products
- Products pending review
- Products with issues
Approved Products
Section titled “Approved Products”What it means: Products are eligible to appear in Google Shopping ads and free listings.
Requirements met:
- All required attributes present
- Prices match your website
- Images meet quality standards
- No policy violations
Pending Products
Section titled “Pending Products”What it means: Google is reviewing the product, typically after:
- Initial submission
- Significant data changes
- Account review
Typical timing:

What to do: Wait. Don’t make changes during review unless you’ve identified an error.
Disapproved Products

Common Disapproval Reasons

Viewing Disapproval Details

Issue Categories

- Invalid GTIN
- Mismatched information

Resolution: Fix data in Feedy McFeed Feed, regenerate feed.
Policy Issues

- Prohibited products
- Misleading claims
- Restricted content
- Trademark issues
Resolution: Review Google Shopping policies, modify or remove products.
Website Issues

Manual Refresh
Section titled “Manual Refresh”To force a status sync:
- Go to GMC
- Click Sync Status
- Wait for sync to complete
Destination Statuses
Section titled “Destination Statuses”Products can have different statuses per destination:

- Approved for free listings

Appeal Process

- In GMC, click Request review
- Provide explanation if prompted
- Wait for Google’s decision
