Customizing Product Titles

Product titles are the most visible part of your ads. Well-crafted titles improve click-through rates, relevance, and ad quality scores.

Effective titles include:

  1. Brand name — Recognition and trust
  2. Product name — What it is
  3. Key attributes — Color, size, material
  4. Model/variant — Specific version

Put the most important information first:

  1. Go to Products
  2. Click on a product
  3. Find Feed Title field
  4. Enter your custom title
  5. Click Save

The custom title is used instead of the Shopify title.

Apply patterns across products:

  1. Go to Feeds > select feed > Settings
  2. Find Title Template
  3. Use variables:
VariableDescription
{title}Shopify product title
{variant_title}Variant name
{brand}Brand/vendor
{product_type}Product type
{sku}Product SKU
{color}Color attribute
{size}Size attribute

Example template:

{brand} {title} - {color} - {size}

Set different titles for each variant:

  1. Go to Products > click product > Variants tab
  2. Click on a variant
  3. Enter a custom title
  4. Save changes

This is powerful for products where variants are significantly different.
