Feed Won't Generate
When feed generation fails, products aren’t updated in advertising platforms. This guide helps you diagnose and fix generation issues.
Checking Generation Status
Section titled “Checking Generation Status”- Go to Feeds > select feed
- View Generation History
- Find failed generation
- Click to see error details
Common Generation Failures

Cause: Large catalog taking too long
Solutions:
- Wait and retry
- Reduce products with filters
- Contact support for optimization
Memory Error

Cause: Very large or complex products
Solutions:
- Reduce feed size
- Split into multiple feeds
- Contact support
Validation Error

Cause: Product data issues blocking generation
Solutions:
- View validation errors
- Fix critical issues
- Retry generation
Database Error

Cause: System issue

Retrying Generation

Reducing Feed Size

Add Filters

- Reduce products to essential ones
- Regenerate
Split Into Multiple Feeds

- Create Feed B: Collection “Category 2”
- Submit both feeds to platform
Checking Feed Content

- Click Preview to view content
- Or Download to inspect file
- Verify products appear correctly
- Check sample data quality
Common Scenarios

- Check for other pending generations

Performance Tips

- Schedule generation during off-peak
- Allow extra time
- Consider multiple smaller feeds
Complex Products

- Generation takes longer
- Ensure timeout settings allow for this
When to Contact Support

- Repeated failures with same error
- Timeout on small catalogs
- System errors persisting > 1 hour
