Products Missing from Feed
Missing products in your feed means lost advertising opportunities. This guide helps you find why products are excluded and how to include them.
Finding Missing Products
Section titled “Finding Missing Products”Check Product Count
Section titled “Check Product Count”Compare:
- Products in Shopify
- Products synced in Feedy McFeed Feed
- Products in feed
If numbers differ, products are being filtered or excluded.
In Feedy McFeed Feed
Section titled “In Feedy McFeed Feed”- Go to Products
- Check “Not in any feed” filter
- Review excluded products
Common Reasons Products Are Missing
Section titled “Common Reasons Products Are Missing”Not Synced from Shopify
Section titled “Not Synced from Shopify”Symptoms: Product in Shopify but not in Feedy McFeed Feed
Causes:
- Product just added
- Sync hasn’t run
- Product is archived/draft
Fix:
- Check product is Active in Shopify
- Click Sync Now in Feedy McFeed Feed
- Wait for sync completion
- Verify product appears
Filtered by Feed Settings
Section titled “Filtered by Feed Settings”Symptoms: Product synced but not in specific feed
Causes:
- Collection filter excludes it
- Product type filter excludes it
- Tag filter excludes it
- Price filter excludes it
Fix:
- Review feed filter settings
- Check product meets all criteria
- Adjust filters or product tags
Excluded by Availability
Section titled “Excluded by Availability”Symptoms: Out-of-stock products missing
Cause: “In stock only” filter enabled
Fix:
- Restock the product
- Or change availability filter
- Or use “include out of stock”
Failed Validation
Section titled “Failed Validation”Symptoms: Product fails health checks
Causes:
- Missing required attributes
- Invalid data format
- Image issues
Fix:
- Check product in Products list
- View validation errors
- Fix the issues
- Regenerate feed
Product Archived in Shopify
Section titled “Product Archived in Shopify”Symptoms: Was in feed, now missing
Cause: Product archived or deleted in Shopify
Fix:
- Check product status in Shopify
- Unarchive if needed
- Product will sync on next update
Checking a Specific Product

Section titled “In Feedy McFeed Feed”- Go to Products
- Search for product name or SKU
- Click on product
- View “Feed Status” section
What to Look For

Feed Filter Checklist

Collection Filter
Section titled “Collection Filter”- Product in required collection?
- Collection filter correct?
Product Type Filter
Section titled “Product Type Filter”- Product type matches filter?
- Spelling/case matches?
Tag Filter

- If exclude mode: Has excluded tag?
Availability Filter
